Sheep Shearing

Come see our sheep get their annual haircuts and participate in many of the steps used to turn that wool into cold weather clothing including washing, carding, spinning, and dyeing! CPP is home to many heritage breed sheep including Hog Island, Leicester Longwool, Horned Dorset, and Soay. 

 
Schedule of shearing: 

11:30 AM Violet, Leicester Longwool

12:30 PM Rainbow, Horned Dorset, Hog Island cross 

1:30 PM Gus, Hog Island

2:30 PM George, Horned Dorset cross 

 
Tickets: $12 adults, $8 children; $5 Members

Farm open 11 AM to 4 PM, last admission at 3 PM.

 
Member exclusive early access at 10:30 AM.
