Summer Camps

A historic adventure awaits!

Summer camps at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation offer an exciting way for children to experience a historic working farm.  Through hands-on farming activities and historic crafts, campers will learn about colonial history in an immersive, interactive, and fun environment.

Campers will engage in a variety of activities and take-home crafts all related to the theme of each week,  including but not limited to hearth cooking, textile production, working in the garden, blacksmithing, and learning about the role and care of the farm's heritage breed animals.

All camps run Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park.

All camps provide an afternoon snack, and free time after lunch for cooling off in our stream, playing group games, reading, or just resting.  They also each culminate in a supervised swim in Ridley Creek. See our FAQs below for more information!

Registration is now open for all.  Campers may be registered for up to 3 weeks of camps.
