Learn about how a local farm dealt with the turbulent times of 1778. The British have occupied Philadelphia since the winter. Food is scarce. Foraging parties will clash as Loyalist Americans, British Regulars and their German Allies try to gain control of the Chester County contryside. Additional troops will be summoned resulting in a battle. A small mounted force will act as the eyes and ears of the crown forces.

This event is hosted by the 11th Pensylvania Regiment. Their website is: www.11thpa.org.
